How it Works
You will first start by filling out our smart form.
Once that is done, the system will generate your Demand Letter and you will have the option to either send it as it is or have it reviewed by one of our lawyers or paralegals.
At Legalhood, we aim to make legal services affordable and are always looking to save you money.
Before paying, you will have the option to select whether you want your Demand Letter to be reviewed by one of our lawyers or paralegals. Not everyone is familiar nor comfortable with this procedure which is why some will seek the assistance of a legal professional.

AUTOMATED DEMAND LETTER (BRONZE PACKAGE) – $99
Our smart form will automatically generate the Demand Letter and add the appropriate legal and formal terms.
DEMAND LETTER WITH LEGAL REVIEW (SILVER PACKAGE) – $149
A lawyer or paralegal will review your Demand Letter and provide you with their comments on the side. You will then have the opportunity to make some changes to your letter before sending it to the other party.
DEMAND LETTER WITH LEGAL REVIEW + PHONE CALL (GOLD PACKAGE)– $199
A lawyer or paralegal will review your Demand Letter and provide you with their comments on the side. They will then contact you to schedule your phone consultation, in which you will have the opportunity to clarify some of their corrections and get answers to your legal questions regarding your case.
SHIPPING OPTIONS
-You may send your Demand Letter yourself, which is free.
However, we strongly recommend you use a shipping method that will allow you to obtain proof of delivery (i.e., Registered Mail through Canada Post).
–Legalhood may send it for you and require a signature upon delivery through Canada Post for $35+taxes/recipient, regardless of their location as long as they are in Canada. A tracking number will be provided to you.
Legalhood‘s services are cheaper because we use and rely on artificial intelligence to do most of the work.
The sender must pay for the transaction fee (plus taxes) to Legalhood. If there is more than one recipient, additional fees of 35$/recipient will apply.
The sender is also responsible to pay the legal fees, should they choose one of our à la carte services. Refer to Step 2 for more information.
Once your Demand Letter is completed, you will receive an email with a link to sign it electronically. This signature is legally binding and can be done using your smartphone, tablet, or computer.
If you opted for the option of sending it through us, we will send your Demand Letter to the recipient(s). You should expect to receive delivery notifications (as well as a tracking number/recipient) from Canada Post. Make sure to save the email that confirms that the letter was delivered.
If you decided to send it yourself, we recommend a method that provides proof of delivery.
