Legalhood will issue a full refund of the service fee (technology fee) when a technical error has occurred or, for non-family law products, when the service is not rendered within the stated time frame.
An internal review will be conducted and a partial refund may be granted.
In all cases where work has been done on the file:
Legalhood undertakes to reimburse the service fee to the client upon request but will require the application of an administrative fee. This fee is 10% of the total cost within the first 14 calendar days of purchase. Legal fees are only reimbursed at 90% if the lawyer has not started work, as provided in the section below.
This refund policy applies to all fees charged for legal services (legal fees).
Assistance Avocats will fully reimburse the legal service in the event of a critical error or if the lawyer was unable to provide the service in a timely manner.
Family Law Products
In the event that your spouse/ex-spouse or partner refuses to participate in your proceeding, you must notify Legalhood within 14 calendar days of your purchase in order to receive a 90% refund. Any refund request made for this reason after the 14 days will be made for a maximum value of 50% of your total purchase price to cover administrative and operational costs associated with your case.
In the event that a lawyer has been appointed and has begun work on your procedure but the service has not been completed, we will conduct an internal audit to assess the value of the service rendered and the client will be reimbursed based on these results.

If the letter of formal notice is not sent, we will reimburse 100% of the cost of sending it by post or e-mail.
If a claim is not filed with the courthouse, we will reimburse 100% of the court fees associated with your case.
