How it Works
Your child must be of legal age and financially independent.
Your ex-spouse must want to participate in this joint (and online) procedure.
You must complete the smart form.
As soon as we receive your form confirming that both parties have agreed to proceed in changing child support, a second form will be emailed to you. You will be asked to provide additional information to the lawyer. You must complete the form within one week upon its reception.
Once both required forms have been filled out, a lawyer will be assigned to your case within 3 business days.
A 48-hour grace period is offered. You may request a full refund up to 48 hours following the completion of both forms.
The lawyer will have sent you the link for your video conference beforehand. During that meeting, they will confirm certain details and may ask you to provide additional documents relevant to your case.
Within seven (7) business days following your session with the lawyer, assuming you have provided all the required documents, the latter will send you the completed paperwork to change your child support payments by email.
