How it Works
Complete the Smart Form
You must complete our interactive form by answering simple questions. You can do it anywhere and anywhere with a stable Internet connection.
We will send your spouse an email inviting them to participate in mediation*. We may reach out to them by phone if deemed necessary.
PLEASE NOTE: the email you provide us for your spouse must be valid to allow us to invite them to participate.
*We recommend that you contact your spouse to let them know that they will be receiving this email as this form must be completed for us to assign a mediator to your case. They might also want to check their spam folder for the email.
As soon as we receive your spouse’s form and all the required information has been provided, we will assign a mediator to your case within 3 business days. The mediation will include two (2) hours.
The latter will then contact you to schedule your first virtual mediation session. They will also send you the link for your video conference.
Please make sure that both your camera and microphone are working beforehand. Otherwise, you may join the meeting by phone.
If you reach an agreement, the mediator will prepare a mediation summary and email it to both of you.
It will then be possible, upon request, for the mediator to draft a full report of the proceedings that can either be certified by the court or a separation agreement or have the mediation homologated (this will be at an additional cost). The mediator will provide you with more information on this procedure.
Lastly, you will have the opportunity to have the legal procedures drawn up between you and your spouse (i.e., a joint petition for divorce, if applicable).
Refund Policy
You may be entitled to a refund if none of our lawyers have worked on your case at the time of your request.
As per our refund policy, Depending on the terms of use of the services, you may be reimbursed for the work of the lawyer before you speak to the lawyer.
For any amount, you will be reimbursed 95% of the amount, a fee of 5% will be retained for the administration of the file.
