How it Works
Before you Begin
It is important to plan for certain things before getting married. You will be accompanied by a lawyer to draft a Prenuptial Agreement in order to protect both members of the couple.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Your spouse must be willing to participate. The lawyer will invite your spouse to participate in a video conference meeting.
Complete the Smart Form
You must complete our interactive form by answering simple questions.
You can do it anywhere and anywhere with a stable Internet connection.
An Invitation is Automatically Sent to Your Future Spouse
We will send your spouse an email (and in rare cases, give them a call) to invite them to fill out a form and to provide us with their information.
PLEASE NOTE: In order for us to be able to reach out and invite them to participate, it is your responsibility to provide a valid email address for your spouse*.
*We advise that you let your spouse know that they should expect this email and that the form must be completed. They might also want to check their spam email folder.
We Assign a Lawyer to Your Case
Once both parties have filled out the required forms, which confirms us that they do agree to proceed forward with the Prenuptial Agreement, a lawyer will be assigned to your case within 3 business days.
A 48-hour grace period is offered. You may request a full refund up to 48 hours following the completion of both forms.
Video Conference Session
Once a lawyer is assigned to your case, you will receive an email from them to confirm the time and date of your video conference session as well as a link to join the meeting*.
During this session, the lawyer will go over and confirm the information you provided. They will also ask you to provide them additional (required) documents.
*Please make sure that both your camera and microphone are working beforehand. Otherwise, you may join the meeting by phone.
Follow-up
Within the next 7 business days following your session with the lawyer, assuming you have provided all the required documents, the lawyer will email you the Prenuptial Agreement as well as a request for electronic signature.
